Kính thưa giáo sư Đặng Ngọc Long,
Tôi tình cờ tìm thấy trên Youtube. một bản nhạc dân ca Việt nam mà ông đã chuyển soạn và chơi trên đàn Guitar thật tuyệt vời. Tôi rất yêu âm nhạc dân ca thếgiới, nhưng chưa có một bản nào hay như bản này. Tôi nghĩ, giai điệu của bài hát đã hay rồi, nhưng phần chuyển soạn của ông đã tạo ra như một viên ngọc thạch cho âm nhạc Guitar.
Tôi vừa truy cập trang web của ông và đã tải bài "Bèo dạt mây trôi". Cảm ơn ông đã thu âm và cho chúng tôi - những sinh viên đang nghiên cứu học Guitar được nghe và được sử dụng bản nhạc. Chúng tôi cũng muốn thử tập những tác phẩm, khi nghe các nghệ sĩ khác trình diễn rất hay, đương nhiên khi chúng tôi, là những người chơi lại thì không thể so sánh được. Đó lại là chuyện khác.
Tôi chân thành đánh giá cao tài năng của ông về kiến thức âm nhạc Guitar cổ điển và lòng tốt của ông đã chia sẻ với chúng tôi những bản nhạc thật hấp dẫn.

Dear Professor Dang Ngoc Long,
I found your music on Youtube by chance. It's a lovely Vietnamese Folk Song, beautifully arranged and performed by you. I really like world folk songs, but have never come across any song as beautiful as this. I am not sure if the original tune is that nice or through your arrangement, it has become such a fine jewel of guitar music.
I have just visited your website and downloaded that song Beo Dat May Troi. Thank you so much for making it available to us, guitar students who always want to try a piece when we heard someone played it so beautifully; even though we know that, to 'reproduce' the sound we heard is a...totally different story!
I sincerely appreciate your talent and knowledge of the classical guitar music and your kindness in sharing it with us.
