Vietnamese melodies at
German guitar festival Musician Dang Ngoc
Long of Vietnam performed impressively at the recent International Guitar
Festival in Bernau, on the outskirts of Berlin (Germany,) which attracted
guitarists from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Vietnam,… Dang Ngoc Long captured the audience's attention
with two pieces of Vietnamese wordless music entitled ‘Central Highlands
Mountains and Forests’ and ‘Endless’ and some Vietnamese folk melodies.
Thousands of German people felt the characteristics of Vietnam in origin and
had a good impression on the land and people of Vietnam. Dang Ngoc Long is now a lecturer of
Bernau-Berlin Music School. The festival featured
three parts including guitar solo performances, a guitar competition for
young talents and performances by prize winners. |
